of Agriculture (MOA) confirmed Wednesday that a new outbreak of
H5N1 bird flu had been discovered.?
The outbreak in Tibet's Nagqu Prefecture and Qinghai's Golog
Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture was discovered on the same migratory
route as another occurrence in Yushu of Qinghai which was reported
earlier this month.
A total of 399 wild birds had been found dead in the two areas,
the ministry said, and observed that all were in the wild areas
where few people lived and no poultry was raised.
Local governments have disinfected the areas where the dead
