The Best Film Trophy--When Love Comes. It is?a drama about a teenage girl dealing with an unexpected pregnancy and her chaotic family life, claimed the best film trophy at the 47th Taiwan Golden Horse Awards on Saturday, November 20, 2010.
The Best Director Award--director Mong-Hong Chung of The Fourth Portrait. Mong-Hong Chung beats Chang Tso-Chi of When Love Comes to win the best director award. The Fourth Portrait was also named outstanding film of the year. Its actress Hao Lei won best supporting actress.
The Best Actor Award--Ethan Ruan. Monga won a best actor award for Ethan Ruan, outstanding filmmaker of the year award for executive producer Lee Lieh and the best sound effects award.
The Best Actress--Lv Liping. Mainland acting veteran Lv Liping was named best actress for her performance in the film City Monkey.
The annual Golden Horse Awards, hailed as the "Chinese-language Oscars", are among the most coveted honors for Chinese filmmakers.
