This year marks the 70th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War, as well as the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. In collaboration with the Institute of Modern History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Society of the History of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Museum of the War of the Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and the National Archives and Records Administration of the United States, the Foreign Languages Press compiled information from high-quality resources including photos, books and other historical documentation to publish "Shared Memories of the US and China: The Pacific War Against Japanese Aggression".
As China is the guest of honor at BEA 2015, the Foreign Languages Press will launch the book "Shared Memories of the US and China: The Pacific War Against Japanese Aggression" and hold a related photo exhibition during the event. The thought-provoking events aim at helping readers look back on history and cherish world peace.
Organized by Foreign Languages Press, 11:20-12:00, May 28, 2015
