China Books (www.amazon.com/chinabooks), a third-party seller on Amazon.com, will be a high-profile exhibitor at the 2015 BookExpo America and will hold a host of events to introduce outstanding Chinese publications to foreign readers, said Zhu Xiaojie, head of the online bookstore.

"This year's BEA is our debut at international book fairs," Zhu said. "In the next step, we will take part in more such fairs and hold diversified events to bring outstanding Chinese books to readers worldwide, thus giving those interested in China a chance to hear true Chinese stories.”
Located at Booth 1603 at the Guest of Honor Pavilion, the China-themed online bookstore will host several readings and book promotion events as a part of the series events that China is going to launch as BEA's guest of honor.
To meet the needs of mobile readers, the bookstore will also provide tablets and Wi-Fi-capable devices at its booth.
One of the readings will be held at 12:00 p.m., May 28. Those who have purchased books at the store are welcome to participate in the event, during which the book "I Am from Xinjiang on the Silk Road” will be officially released in North America, Zhu said.
Launched in 2011 by China International Book Trading Corporation, China Books has dedicated itself to introducing the best Chinese books to foreign readers to keep them up-to-date on what is happening in the country. It is the only bookstore on Amazon.com that is named after a country. Hundreds of thousands of Chinese publications are available on the platform and can be delivered to 185 countries and regions via Amazon's global purchase plan.
This year's BEA, one of the world's biggest book fairs, will be held from May 27 to 30 at the Javits Center in New York City.
