Wuliangye Yibin Co., Ltd., one of China's top liquor producers, announced Sunday evening that its net profit in the first three months rose 20.78 percent year on year to 1.522 billion yuan (222.8 million U.S. dollars).
Operation revenue in the first quarter jumped 34.59 percent to 4.493billion yuan (657.8 million U.S. dollars), the southwestern Sichuan Province-based liquor maker said in its quarterly results report to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The equities of the Shenzhen-listed firm dropped 1.02 percent to close at 29 yuan per share on Friday.
