The foreign direct investment (FDI) in China reached 30.789 billion U.S. dollars in the first four months of this year, an increase of 11.28 percent from a year earlier, the Ministry of Commerce said Friday.
April alone saw a 24.69 percent growth in FDI to 7.346 billion U.S. dollars, according to a statement published by the ministry.
The FDI growth rate in the first three months was 7.7 percent year on year, and that for March alone stood at 12.08 percent.
