There are 459 listed companies under full-circulation on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges as of Thursday, accounting for 24.5 percent of the markets, according to Shenzhen Securities Information Co.
Shanghai has 394 full-circulation companies, while Shenzhen has 65.
These companies include many blue chip stocks, such as Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Sinopec, Ping An Insurance, China Life and China Merchants Bank. Their total share capital has reached 1.13 trillion shares, accounting for 58 percent of shares under full-circulation on the two stock exchanges.
