Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China in September rose 6.14 percent year on year, compared with a growth rate of just 1.38 percent in August.
China received 8.384 billion U.S. dollars in FDI last month, compared with 7.602 billion U.S. dollars in August, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Friday.
The September figure brought the total amount for the first nine months to 74.34 billion U.S. dollars, MOC spokesman Yao Jian said.
