At the auxiliary event of the ongoing Third China International Consumer Products Expo, participants addressed topics such as high-quality medical services and the trends and prospects in the global healthcare industry.
Participants said they believe the forum is an important exchange platform for medical products and resources, and it will play a role in leading the high-quality development of medical and healthcare products.
Hainan's unique natural conditions, its free trade port construction, and other preferential policies have given the tropical island an advantage in developing the medical industry.
Gu Gang, vice governor of Hainan province, said the forum will help to promote the upgrading of medical consumption and build Hainan into a destination for medical and healthcare consumption.
At the forum, a host of project agreements were inked to promote the upgrading of Hainan's healthcare industry.
