Apple on Wednesday announced the release of iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2, introducing a set of new features to Apple Intelligence on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
The new features include image playground, Genmoji, writing tool enhancements, and ChatGPT integration with iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2.
Siri can now allow users to ask ChatGPT certain questions it can't answer. While Apple Intelligence-powered writing tools can't write text, the company also provides a "compose" option to call on ChatGPT to generate text based on the prompt.
The company also expanded language support for Apple Intelligence to localized English in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and Britain.
Additional languages, including Chinese, English (India), English (Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese will be coming throughout the year, with an initial set arriving in a software update in April.
