The 80th Geneva Motor Show will kick off on Thursday amid difficult times for motor industry, and an estimated 700,000 visitors are expected during the 10-day event.
The show, which will be held in Geneva's Palexpo from March 4 to 14, has attracted more than 200 exhibitors from 30 countries featuring over 700 brands. It also boasts some 100 world and European premieres.

The International Geneva Motor Show (French: Salon International de l'Auto) is an annual auto show held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva. The show is hosted at the Geneva Palexpo, a convention centre located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport. The Salon is organised by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles, and is considered an important major international auto show.
