The exhibition revolves around the milestones accomplished since the 18th CPC National Congress, covering various aspects such as reform and development, domestic affairs, diplomacy, national defense, and the building of an exemplary Party, a prosperous country and a strong military.
The exhibition engages the attention of visitors with interactive displays.
There are 10 exhibition zones. Zone 1 introduces major policies since the 18th CPC National Congress with a three-minute film. Zone 2 to 10 are designed with different themes, including achievements made in economy, the political system, Chinese culture, social issues, the environment, national defense and military building, its major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics, the practice of "one country, two systems" principle and the construction of the Party.
Apart from pictures, texts and video clips, what attract visitors' attention in particular are a set of models of the Jiaolong deep-sea research submersible, Tianyan Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope, and the Fuxing high-speed railway train. Moreover, state-of-the-art weapons are displayed on a huge sand table in the zone of national defense and military construction.
The exhibition's interactive features include animated displays of cultural relics and real-time telecommunications with scientists at the Antarctic Zhongshan Station. The development in internet technologies is also highlighted at the exhibition.
The exhibition opens to the public for free.
