Chinese mainland and Taiwan top negotiators on cross-Strait ties plan to hold their sixth round of talks in Taiwan at the end of the year.
The two sides agree to address issues including medical and health cooperation and investment protection across the Taiwan Strait at the new round of talks, Chiang Pin-kung, chairman of the Taiwan-based Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF), said here Tuesday at a press conference.
Relevant authorities on both sides will communicate with each other soon so as to reach agreement on the two issues at an early date, Chiang said.
The ARATS and SEF resumed talks in 2008.
