Seven people have been confirmed dead after a mini-bus slipped off road and rolled over amid rains in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Wednesday, local authorities said.

Nnine people were on the 14-seat bus when the accident happened at 7:20 a.m. on a highway in Xilingol League, according to government sources.

The two injured have been sent to hospital.
