The mainland-based Red Cross Society of China has donated 100,000 U.S. dollars to help relief efforts after typhoon Fanapi slammed Taiwan Sunday.
The Society also expressed their condolences to the Taiwanese people affected by Fanapi through Taiwan's Red Cross Society, a statement from the mainland-based Society said Thursday.
Typhoon Fanapi crashed into Taiwan Sunday morning. It brought heavy rains to southern parts of Taiwan and caused over 100 people to be injured.
