An earthquake measuring 5.1 degree on the Richter scale hit the city of Ilan, Taiwan, at 3:56 a.m. Friday, according to Taiwan Seismological Center.
The epicenter was monitored at a place 11.4 kilometers in the north of the Ilan earthquake monitoring station, with a depth of about 102.1 kilometers, said the Taiwan Seismological Center.
