Maritime authorities in east China's Zhejiang Province are searching for 11 fishermen on a boat reported missing early Sunday morning.
The boat, registered in the port city of Wenling, lost contact with its company, Wenling Shitang Fishing Co., Ltd., at about 2 a.m. Sunday, a managing director with the company who only gave his surname as Xie said Monday.
The 34-meter-long boat set sail at 10:09 p.m. Saturday from Shitang Port, Xie said.
The boat was last located at 122 degrees east longitude and 28 degrees north latitude, according to a local boat monitoring system.
