A man stabbed six people on the street in Kashgar City, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and committed suicide after being surrounded by police Monday, local police said.
The man, in his 20s and armed with a knife and scissors, stabbed six passers-by, including a middle school student, on Xiyu road in Kashgar at around 8:05 p.m., police said.
