The State Council announced Wednesday the appointment of four high-level officials.

According to a cabinet statement, Jiang Xiaojuan was appointed as vice secretary-general of the State Council and now steps down from her post as vice director of Research Office of the State Council.

Qiu Xiaoxiong was appointed as the new deputy director of the State Administration of Taxation and relinquishes the post of vice secretary-general of State Council.

Wu Xinxiong was appointed to be the president of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission, replacing Wang Xudong. Xu Deming was appointed as the director of the National Administration of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation.
