Three people were killed after a collision between a locomotive and an electric motorcycle occurred Saturday evening in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, local authorities said Sunday.
The accident occurred around 8 p.m. at an unsupervised crossing where a railway line is intersected by a road in the city of Laibin, said a spokesman from the region's public security department.
The train, carrying 18 coaches, collided with the electric motorcycle. Three people on the motorcycle died at the scene, said the spokesman.
The bodies of the three victims have been sent to a crematorium and compensation negotiations are underway, he said.
