A man was killed and another three people were injured in a bus-truck crash Thursday morning in Hubei Province, local police said.

At about 6:40 p.m. Thursday morning, a bus collided with a truck on a section of the Wuhan-Shiyan expressway. The bus driver was confirmed dead at the scene, police said.

Three passengers have been hospitalized, with one in serious condition.

According to a preliminary investigation, the accident was caused by the heavy smog.
