Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping on Tuesday addressed a national conference of Party school principals with a call for them to learn from successful experience and explore scientific methods to run their facilities as key venues for training officials.
Speaking at the event's opening ceremony, Xi hailed the support of local Party committees and governments as well as the hard work of school faculties in ensuring Party schools' role "as the think tanks and main educational institutes for the country's officials."
Xi urged school faculties to keep their thoughts and actions consistent with Party principles during operations including teaching, research, administration and logistics.
Meanwhile, the vice president encouraged the schools to innovate in training programs while improving the overall quality of education, infrastructure and management.
He also called upon Party committees to provide more guidance as well as financial and material support as a foundation for Party schools.
