Four senior officials from China's ministries and top economic planner introduced the country's achievements in various fields at a forum held Thursday to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
Ning Jizhe, deputy head of the National Development and Reform Commission, Vice Foreign Minister Zheng Zeguang, Vice Minister of Science and Technology Li Meng and Assistant Commerce Minister Ren Hongbin attended the forum.
They briefed the audience on the achievements of China's economic, diplomatic, science and technology and commerce development in the past seven decades, particularly since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in late 2012, and also interacted with audience members online.
The forum was the sixth and also the last one of a series to mark the PRC's 70th founding anniversary.
