The Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation released a Chinese-English guidebook for the registration of foreign-invested companies on Monday, aiming to provide more convenience for foreign firms.
Accompanied by a Q&A brochure, this is the first bilingual guidebook of its kind in China.
The guidebook provides a comprehensive overview of the registration process, required documentation, and key considerations for foreign-invested companies. Meanwhile, the Q&A brochure addresses 12 common questions encountered by foreign firms during registration, offering detailed explanations on issues such as the information shareholders need to provide and the feasibility of contributing capital in foreign currency.
The guidebook is available on the official website of the Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation and its affiliated website and WeChat mini program. Printed copies can also be found at administrative service halls across the city's districts.
