March 26: More than 30 reporters from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas news organizations have begun a three-day visit to post-riot Lhasa; Lhasa prosecutors have so far issued arrest warrants for 29 people alleged to have been involved in this month's riots; the number of rioters who have turned themselves in to police exceeded 280 as of 11 PM Tuesday; Chinese students overseas, angered by distorted Western coverage of the recent riots in Tibet, have united to counter what they call "Western media hegemony"; State councillor Meng Jianzhu, also head of the Public Security Ministry, has visited Tibet with a government work team consisting of several ministers, marking the first visit to the troubled area by a central government official since the riots.
