Low carbon emission is generating a lot of buzz lately. Members of the CPPCC National Committee are offering their advice and suggestions on how to develop cars powered by clean energy. Here are what two members say about it.
Ren Yong, CPPCC member, said, "Surcharges for purchasing motor vehicles should be removed. Further more, I think the state should give more subsidies as a way to promote low carbon emissions."
Jiang Yingshi, CPPCC member, said, "Electronic cars are a battleground for the world's manufacturers. China should make further efforts to conquer key issues like batteries, motors and electronic control systems. Only by doing that, can we stand at the forefront of this technology."
