A photo exhibition titled "Scientific Reconstruction – Great Achievement," chronicling China's massive rebuilding efforts in Sichuan, Gansu and Shaanxi Provinces in the three years since the devastating May 12, 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake, recently opened at the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution in Beijing. A large collection of vivid color photographs focus on the government's rehabilitation of housing, schools, public services and cultural life in the three affected provinces, as well specific assistance by provincial authorities and the international community.
The Exhibition is free for visitors who show valid ID at the door.
