A middle school headmaster has died after an organized knife attack by three people early on Monday in south China's Guangdong Province, a local government spokesman said.
Huang Zhaoluan, principal of Lianjiang Middle School and a vice-chairman of the Lianjiang City Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), was attacked at about 6:24 a.m. in the street about 100 meters from his home, the spokesman said.
Huang suffered stab wounds to his entire body, and later died in hospital from blood loss from severed arteries in his thighs.
Police said they believed the attack was premeditated, but would give no further details. They are investigating the attack.
