China's top political advisor Jia Qinglin visited a team of Taiwan medical workers in the quake-hit mainland Qinghai Province and brought them regards from Hu Jintao on Monday.

"I'd like to extend sincere gratitude to all of you on behalf of the CPC Central Committee General Secretary Hu Jintao and people of the mainland, especially people in the quake zone," Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, told the Taiwan medical team in a hospital in provincial capital Xining City.
Jia acknowledged their efforts in treating injured quake survivors.
The mutual support between Chinese mainland and Taiwan in times of need reflected the essence of the Chinese people's spirit--love, courage and solidarity, he said.
The team of 20 Taiwan medical workers arrived in Xining on April 18 to help treat injured quake survivors.
