The second batch of disaster relief materials donated by Russia to earthquake-hit Yushu area in northwest China Monday was delivered to Chengdu, capital of the southwestern province of Sichuan.
The 65.57-tonne relief materials were part of Russia's 1.3-million-U.S.-dollar aid to Yushu. The first batch of relief materials was delivered to China on April 25.
The Yushu earthquake in Qinghai Province on April 14, measured 7.1 degrees on the Richter scale, killed at least 2,200 people and left more than 100,000 homeless.
