The world's most lucrative film season, China's Spring Festival film season, was erased from the 2020 calendar when authorities shut down all the cinemas to stem the spread of the virus. Compared with box office data from last year, China's film market has so far lost 1.65 billion yuan. Once again, some were able to adapt with films such as "Lost in Russia" debuting online. In addition to the film industry, the entire traditional entertainment industry, including concerts, sports events and exhibitions, is still shut down.
