The Fifth Session of the Ninth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top political advisory body, is scheduled to open on March 3.
The CPPCC National Committee Standing Committee made the decision at its 16th meeting Tuesday.
The Standing Committee proposed that the agenda of the coming session include the reading and approval of a work report by the standing committee and a report on the handling of proposals raised since the last annual session.
The delegates of the CPPCC National Committee session will also attend the Fifth Session of the Ninth National People's Congress (NPC), as non-voting participants, according to the decision.
