A spectacle of water and light is about to dazzle the Chinese capital. The breath-taking Aquatic Show is preparing for its Beijing debut. The Poly Culture and Art Corporation is bringing the French production to Sun Park in the Chaoyang District. The magic will flow September 19 through October 4.
The announcement at a press conference held in August 25 is stirring up great anticipation in the capital, Beijing. Organizers say the aquatic marvel will be a major part of the Chaoyang Tourist Festival, scheduled to open in early September.
Wang Cheng, general manager of Performance Dept. of Poly Culture & Art Co., Ltd., said: "The show will be held in a very pleasing natural environment. There'll be a huge screen 120 meters wide on the lake surface, displaying all kinds of water wonders. This is the first time that Beijing has introduced such an event to its people. I'm sure many of the scenes are beyond the imagination of audience here."

In its 25 years of existence, the Aquatique Show International has teamed up with Disney world and Sea World Florida, and entertained millions of people around the world.
Company experts say that the lake in Sun Park seems to be a stage especially designed for the aquatic show and they're looking forward to a successful run.
