The chairman of Japan's National Federation of Fisheries Cooperative Associations Yikuhiro Hattori visited the Tokyo Electric Power on Thursday to protest against the plan to pour down waste water from Fukushima No.1 power plant into the sea.

TEPCO, the operator of the Fukushima No.1 power plant hit by a powerful tsunami on March 11 triggered by the earthquake, released a plan on Wednesday saying that they were considering dumping traded radiation contamination water into the ocean as soon as next March. "We will never allow you to pour the dangerous water into ocean so easily." Yikuhiro Hattori said in an meeting with President of TEPCO Toshio Nishizawa.

TEPCO said there was no space to build new tanks for the restoration of radioactive waste water and the old ones were likely to reach the storage limit around next March. All tainted water would be traded with low level of radioactivity under the legal standards.
