Norwegian authorities confirmed the country's first fatal case of A/H1N1 flu on Thursday, according to media reports.
A middle-aged man died last week of pneumonia caused by the A/H1N1 flu virus, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health said in Oslo.
The victim was a Danish truck driver who fell ill while working in Norway, the institute said.
More than 1,025 cases of A/H1N1 flu have been confirmed in Norway and 558 in Denmark, according to a daily report released Wednesday by the European Center of Disease Prevention and Control.
