As the second day of Table Tennis Team competitions at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games continued in the Peking University Gymnasium on Sunday, all remaining teams were fighting for places in the next round.

In Men's Team - Class 9/10, Spain, France, China and the Czech Republic were the teams to emerge victorious. Jose Manuel Ruiz of Spain and Ge Yang of China remained unbeaten to guide their teams to victory.

In Women's Team - Class 6-10, China and Poland will meet in the final after respectively beating France and Russia in a 3-0 contest - a repeat of the Athens final in the Women's Team Classes 6-10 event when China took gold.

Natalia Partyka and Malgorzata Grzelak of Poland and Liu Meili, Fan Lei and Lei Lina of China, were the most successful players.

In Men's Team - Class 4/5, China ended Norway's hopes of a Team gold medal. The No. 1 seed Tommy Urhaug of Norway, bronze medalist in Men's Singles Class 4/5, and his teammate Rolf Erik Paulsen, suffered defeat at the hands of the Chinese players Zhang Yan, Guo Xingyuan and Bai Gang.

Republic of Korea beat France in a close 3-2 contest. Choi Kyoung-sik of the ROK saved his team by beating Maxime Thomas in the decisive fifth match.

In Men's Team - Class 6-8, China and Slovakia went through to the final after beating Israel 3-0 and France 3-1, respectively.

The closer encounter was the contest between Slovakia and France, with three of the four matches extended the full five game distance.

In Women's Team - Class 4/5, China, Germany, Serbia and Jordan went through to the semifinals. Ren Guixiang and Gu Gai of China and Andrea Zimmerer of Germany emerged as the most successful players. They remained unbeaten to guide their teams to victory.

The closest encounter was the duel between Chinese Taipei and Jordan with Fatmeh Al-Azzam of Jordan being the heroine. In the decisive fifth match, she beat Tsai Hui-chu of Chinese Taipei 3-0 to secure victory for her team.

In Men's Team - Class 3, France and Brazil advanced to the final while Great Britain and China will play in the bronze medal match.
