Photo taken on Aug. 9, 2010 shows a 10-centimeter-long dinosaur footprint fossil in the Huanglonggou area of Huanghua Township in Zhucheng City, east China's Shandong Province. The dinosaur footprint fossil group, which formed in the middle of the Cretaceous period, is located in the Beiling hillside, 20 kilometers away from the urban area of Zhucheng. It covers an area of 2,600 square meters and contains some 3,000 footprint fossils of more than six kinds of dinosaurs. The length of smallest fossil is about 10 centimeters, while the largest one is about 40 centimeters. [Xinhua] |
