The deadly tropical storm Nock-Ten landed in coastal areas of south China's Hainan Province on July 29, 2011. A total of 189,033 people had been evacuated to safe areas in Hainan Province as of early Saturday morning after Nock-Ten made landfall over the province late Friday afternoon.
