China seals women's singles title at table tennis Pro Tour

Chinese paddlers booked a showdown in the women's singles final at the Pro Tour finals?in Macao?on Sunday with defending champion Guo Yan eased on while teenager Ding Ning struggled to win.
Guo Yan, ranked fourth int the world, recorded an impressive victory over South Korean defender Kim Kyung Ah in four straight sets (11-6, 11-7, 11-5, 11-7).
"I prepared very well for the match," said Guo, winning in close scores in their last contest at the English Open last November. "I found her a little bit tired today, and after losing the chance to win the second set, she was just out of hope."
The world's no. 1 women defender assumed more offensive to lead 6-1 in the second set before Guo, considered as the most powerful female paddler on the planet, adjusted in time to fight back with 11-7.
"It might be different if she would win the second set," said the defending champion, who controled the following two sets with powerful attacks and great patience.
However, Ding Ning, who claimed the doubles title on Saturday, edged out Singapore's Feng Tianwei, highest ranked non-Chinese, in a duel of breathtaking rallies in seven sets (11-1, 6-11, 4-11, 11-2, 9-11, 11-9, 11-8).
The clash of exuberance saw a dominance change-over between the two youngsters in the first four sets, and a hard fight unveiled from the fifth.
"I found myself lack of preparation for the potential changes on the court," said the 19-year-old Beijing native. "However, I did not give up when I was trailed 1-5 in the seventh set and finally made a reversion."
Feng, 23, on the other hand, was depressed about her loss of a good chance.
"She made some changes whilst I failed to adjust with that," said Feng, who ended the match with a bad receipt.
