Marit Bjoergen of Norway won the season-ending Nordic skiing World Cup in Falun, Sweden on Sunday for her sixth victory in her last eight races.
Against a snow storm, the triple Olympic champion won the 10-kilometre free style, the fourth and final event of the finals, in a time of 31 minutes and 58.0 seconds.
Poland's Justyna Kowalczyk finished second, 51.9 seconds adrift, with Sweden's Charlotte Kella third, by one minute and 12 seconds.
Bjoergen's win enabled her to stand second in the overall World Cup standings while Kowalczyk has already secured her second consecutive overall World Cup victory.
