Ronaldo made physical contact with the soccer ball on Thursday during Corinthians' team practice. However, the star striker was limited to playing soccer-volleyball while the rest of the team practiced on the pitch.
Ronaldo played alongside his physical therapist Bruno Mazziotti in the exercise. The athlete is still recovering from an injury to his right calf that took place on May 8.
The "Phenomenon" has only played in one game for Corinthians during the 2010 Brazilian Championship. He scored by way of penalty kick against Atletico-PR in his team's 2-1 victory. However, he injured himself in the same game, never returning to action yet in the tournament.
Ronaldo and the Corinthians medical staff, headed by Joaquim Grava, have not yet set a date for the player's return. In the 11th round of play, Corinthians will receive Guarani on July 25.
