Jordanian forward Islam Abbaas is going to fight for China's Northeast Tigers basketball club in the coming International Basketball Tournament in Dongguan, the club manager said Monday.
The 30-year-old was born in 1980, 2.01 in height and 110 kg in weight. He has competed with the Arena and the ASU Sports in the Jordanian league and in 2006, as a member of the Jordan national team, he took part in the Doha Asian Games.
Abbaas is scheduled to meet the northeast Tigers in Dongguan, a city of Southern Guangdong province, and compete in the tournament.
According to Sun Jun, general manager of the northeast Tigers, the club is looking for excellent non-Asian forward and centre forward, especially the castoffs of NBA.
