The Chinese Football Association Tuesday named a 23-man squad for the Asian Cup to be held next month in Qatar.
Hao Junmin, who plys his trade with German Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04, is the only foreign-based player called up to the roster.
China has been drawn in Group A alongside Qatar, Kuwait and Uzbekistan in the Jan. 7-29 continental championship.
