?Top seed Caroline Wozniacki on Sunday won through to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open.
The world No.1 defeated unseeded Latvian Anastasija Sevastova in straight sets 6-3 6-4 in the fourth round.
"She's a tough opponent because she mixes her game up so well. I pulled it through," the Danish Wozniacki told reporters in Melbourne after the victory. "We're in the second week so there is no easy matches. I just love being out there with this amazing crowd though."
Wozniacki only needs one more win in Melbourne to keep her No.1 ranking.
She is now expecting a tough match from either French Open champion Francesca Schiavonne, or two-time major winner Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova in the fifth round.
