Uruguay booked a ticket for the World Cup Under-20 tournament after defeating Chile 1-0 at the Monumental Stadium in Arequipa city in Peru.
Uruguay now is the second team to qualify for the youth soccer gala, after Brazil.
Uruguayan midfielder Adrian Luna scored the goal of the victory at the 37th minute.
During the match, the Uruguayan team showed a compact team, with capacity of moving and having Luna as the best player in the field, they pushed in the attack.
Chile played individually without a fluid game. However, the team had good chances in the final minutes. Yashir Pinto was on target three minutes from time but Uruguayan player Leandro Cabrera was able to stop the ball.
Later at the 90th minute, Chilean Bustos attempted another goal, which was stopped by Uruguayan goalkeeper Salvador Ichazo.
With the triumph Uruguay has collected seven points, surpassing Brazil on six points.
Later Ecuador will face Colombia and Argentina will face Brazil.
The U20 World Cup will be held in Colombia.
