Iranian Foolad Sepahan soccer club blanked Qatar's Al-Gharafa with two goals in Group A of the 2011 AFC Champions League, the local satellite Press TV reported on Wednesday.
In the third round of the matches on Tuesday, Foolad Sepahan gained their third win in a row at Iran's Isfahan Fouladshahr Stadium.
Despite the consecutive victories, Foolad Sepahan's boss Amir Qalenoei said after the match that he cannot say for sure that they had reached the next round until they defeat archer rivals Saudi club Al-Hilal.
In another Group A match, Al-Hilal beat Al-Jazira 3-1.
Foolad Sepahan now lead the group with nine points from three games, three adrift of Saudi outfit Al-Hilal, while Al-Gharafa and Al-Jazira are at the bottom with one point each.
