Sochi-Drive, a major entertaining and educational project designed to draw attention to the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014, has started in Russia.
Within three years, SochiDrive will pass through 14 cities in Russia.
Nizhny Novgorod is the second stop of this project and the first was held in Moscow on Aug. 18.
The projects include concerts by popular artists, sports demonstrations, exhibition on the Olympic theme, training simulators as well as presentations of partners of the Sochi Olympics. The events of the program involved prominent Russian athletes.
On the indoor rink with artificial ice, skaters showed their skills and snowboarders showed dizzying stunts on a ramp. Some visitors were lucky to test their skills in sports simulations.
SochiDrive in Nizhny Novgorod will be open until Oct. 2.
