Chinese swimmers continued to dominate the Japan Open
short-course swimming tournament, by winning three golds and four
silvers in the second day of competition.
World champion Qi Hui and junior teammate Yang Yu finished first
and second in the women's 200-meter individual medley.
China's rising star Zhang Lin clocked a time of 3 minutes, 41.41
seconds to win the men's 400-meter freestyle, while the women's
100-meter butterfly title went to Xu Yanwei.
Gao Chang, Pang Jiaying and Wu Peng each earned silver medals
for the Chinese team.
Olympic champion and gold medal hopeful, Luo Xuejuan, only
finished third in the women's 50-meter breaststroke.
