Southwest Jiaotong University
SWJTU is one of the oldest technical universities in China. Founded in 1896 in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, it moved to Emeishan, Sichuan Province, in 1972, where it began to lose its popularity. The university has 23 schools, 72 key undergraduate programs, 134 master’s programs and 64 doctoral subjects.
