Lister, long known for their association with Jaguar, produced the extravagant Storm based on a Twin Supercharged Jaguar V12 bored out to a massive 7 litres. Power was prodigious with almost 600bhp on tap, enough to propel the Storm into the exclusive 200mph club. Acceleration was equally vivid with 100mph from rest in a little over 8 seconds.
The model became the GTL in 1997 with smoothed out bodywork for a more modern look plus the abandonment of the Twin Superchargers. Even so, performance was still in the 200mph class.
